This study evaluated the quality in use of the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) at the Instituto Superior Tecnológico Luis Tello, applying ISO/IEC 25022 metrics. The objective was to assess effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction perceived by students using the Moodle platform. A mixed-method approach with quantitative predominance was adopted, including SUS questionnaires answered by 14 students and direct observation of critical tasks. Results showed that simple tasks, such as viewing videos and posting in forums, achieved higher effectiveness and efficiency, while complex tasks, such as uploading files or completing quizzes, revealed lower performance in time and error frequency. Nevertheless, overall satisfaction reached a “very satisfactory” level, indicating positive user perception. The weighted final score (7.24/10) classified the VLE’s quality in use as “satisfactory.” It is concluded that although the VLE meets minimum quality requirements, improving complex processes is necessary to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Future work includes periodic evaluations and redesign of operational flows.
