Human Talent Management and Quality of Ecuadorian Public Higher Education
Keywords:

This article analyzes the relationship between human talent management and the quality of Ecuadorian public higher education through a qualitative bibliographic review with a descriptive-analytical scope. A corpus of 35 scientific, technical, and institutional sources was examined, focusing on strategic human resource management, leadership, job satisfaction, performance appraisal, managerial stability, merit, and knowledge management. The findings identify five areas of influence: strategic human talent management, institutional leadership, motivation and commitment, performance appraisal, and managerial stability. In Ecuador, turnover among authorities and senior management teams may weaken institutional memory, policy continuity, and long-term monitoring. Human talent management is therefore understood as an institutional condition for sustaining quality, relevance, continuity, and accountability in public higher education.
